Messiah College
Grantham, PA
Located at the highest point of the Messiah College campus, the Frey Hall of Engineering becomes the focal point of the campus' academic core. The multi-story building houses general classrooms, lecture halls, wood and metal shops, a 180-seat auditorium, sculpture and ceramic art studios, computer and electronic laboratories, physics and engineering laboratories, seminar rooms, resource center and faculty offices and lounge. The building massing is represented by two major elements joined by the entrance lobby; a traditional rectilinear classroom wing and a contrasting wing for the auditorium and art studios. The architecture reflects the separate purposes of the building.
