With twelve weeks left before the a new school year and the investiture of the new President at Lehigh University, VITETTA was hired to complete the interior restoration and renovation of the President's house, an 1860's Gothic Revival mansion. The VITETTA design team worked directly with the incoming President and his family to quickly infuse new life and visual excitement into the house while reflecting the visions of the new President and respecting the history of the building. Under a limited budget and time frame, a new architectural lighting system was installed to enliven the spaces, a lively and warm color palette was introduced, existing furniture was restored and upholstered, a new security system was unobtrusively installed, and other historically sensitive architectural changes were made.
