Since 1981, VITETTA has been retained by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide a wide range of professional services on the Main Capitol Building including master planning, historic research, physical evaluation, restoration services, construction, documentation and observation, systems analysis and architectural conservation. Some of the projects included the preliminary master plan and code compliance report for the entire building and the design of new elevators. VITETTA also did the restoration of the main entrance rotunda, the main access corridor to the new addition, the restoration of the Supreme Court Dome, and various office areas for The State Senate.
