Pennsylvania Judicial Center Parking Garage

The first phase of the judicial center project included a five-story parking garage located on an adjacent site, with the primary function to provide parking for Commonwealth employees displaced by the demolition of the former below grade parking garage at the judicial center site. The site for the new parking garage is adjacent to the 1960s Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Labor & Industry building. The structure employs an economical precast concrete structural system and precast concrete façade elements, which were carefully designed to resemble the limestone cladding of the adjacent Labor & Industry building. The secure garage with a fully automated entrance and exit system provides parking for 580 vehicles.
