VITETTA provided programming and concept design services for the Roselle Public Library. The programming effort was performed with the director, library staff and library consultant. The Roselle Library is housed in a 7,000 sf building dating from the 1920s and a small addition from the 1980s.
The expansion calls for a total of 30,000 sf including the historic buildings. The newly expanded Library will feature expansion of services and collections from infants through senior citizens. There will be a Teen Area/Young Adult room, large Children’s area with Program Room for Story Telling and Crafts. The Library will feature community meeting space and a Local History Room for special collections from Roselle. The building will host a café and enlarged leisure reading areas as well as merchandising of materials throughout the Library.
