Pennsylvania Capitol

For 24 years, VITETTA has provided full architectural/engineering services to the Pennsylvania State Capital, Main Capitol Building including security planning/design. Security planning/design entailed the layout of conduit, and inter-duct systems between four buildings, taking security measures to protect outside access to the fiber optics. The system terminates at cabinets, and racks at main hub rooms in each building. Fiber optics are distributed to remote locations within the building for future connections to local area networks, telephones, video outputs, etc. Empty conduit has also been located in various buildings to accommodate any future security systems that are installed. New fibers placed in empty conduits were blown through the conduits with nitrogen gas to accommodate installation.
